We arrived at school and were signed into the register by the head teacher (principal). As an aside, I SO wanted to get a pic of this register. It's a huge book with the hand-written names of all the children who have started reception in the school. It felt very Harry Potter-esque.
We were led down to Elliot's classroom...
...where we were both were very pleased and surprised to see one of Elliot's teachers from last year, as well as...
...Rex!
While Noah and I had a snoop around the room, Elliot and Rex got down to work. It looked very serious (and not the place for nosy Moms and little brothers), so Noah and I said a quick hello to some of the kids we knew, a quick goodbye to Elliot and Rex, and then hightailed it out of there.

We had important things to do ourselves.

Yay, well done Elliot! He looks so happy and proud in his uniform and so confident just getting on with everything at school. :)

ReplyDeleteAndrea, it appears that you have aquired a wonderful new kitchen sous-chef in Noah. I bet Elliot was happy to be greeted by yummy,fresh homemade cookies after his big day. Such a good Mom and little brother!
